My name is Marissa Toni Griswold. I was born in St. Joseph, MO on November 8th, 1995 at 5:33pm. I weighed 7lbs. & 15 1/2 oz. & was 20 1/2 inches long. My parents are Tony & Angela Griswold.
I have two older sisters named Brooke (13) & Samantha(12). I loved it so much when they would play house & barbies with me. There were some Saturdays we played them all day long!! What fun.
One of my favorite things to do was put in my Nelly CD & dance my butt off. I also loved playing dress up & putting on glitter & lip gloss. My mom always said, "You look so beautiful, Marissa." My dad said, "Your too little for make up, Marissa."
My favorite food is a chicken-nugget happy meal from ......McDonalds!!! I loved it when my PaPa Tedd would pick me up from preschool & always take me to get one. On Tuesday & Thursday`s my Grandma Vickie would pick me up from preschool because my PaPa Tedd had dialysis. And I always remember on Tuesday we would have Taco Tuesday`s at Taco John`s. And on Thursday`s we would get 99 cent chicken nuggets from Wendy`s. Another thing I loved was my cousins Cheyenne & Savannah making me sit in the middle because they loved me so much they both wanted to be by me!
When I was in kindergarten I had my Aunt GoGo come to Aunt`s day with me, we had lunch together. She brought me a chicken nugget happy meal. She would always come eat lunch with me 2 or 3 times a year. My Grandma Patty & my mom also came to eat lunch with me often.
I went to Pershing Elementary. I was in 1st grade with my best friends Brady, Kylee, Caitlyn, & Baylor. My favorite subject was Music. I always took my pink, cool lunchbox that my mom bought me in Arizona on vacation. In it I always took 1/2 peanut butter & jelly sandwich, chips & juice. I was too nervous to go all the way through the lunch line. My Grandma Patty drove me to school every morning on her bus #21. I felt so lucky to get to have MY grandma (since my mom had to work) taking me to school everyday.
When I started 1st grade I was very nervous because my big sissy Brooke wasn`t there, she started 7th grade. My other sissy Sammie was a patrol so she couldn`t help me get to class. I cried everyday at school until my mommy asked my best friend Caitlyn to ride to school with me on my Grandma`s bus. That helped me alot because I then had someone to go to walk & talk with. I would call my mommy every morning at 8:20am just to say "hi" & that helped me also. Another special thing me & my mom did was when my mom dropped my off at my Grandma Patty`s we did our special "paw" kiss. A "paw" kiss is when you kiss the top & inside of each hand. Then I would have two kisses to last me until my mom got home from work.
I was in Girl Scout troop 248. The leader was Alexis Rodney, she was really nice. We always did such fun things. One time I remember we went to the fire station & I got to sit in the fire truck. I earned all my Daisy petals in Kindergarten.
